Check with individual schools to see if they accept Advanced Placement AP credits earned in high school towards their prerequisites. Empathy : A PA should be able to assist patients in pain understandingly.
Analytical skill : A physician assistant should possess the ability to pay attention to details especially during the investigation of a particular type of disease and the administration of the best treatment. Emotional stability : Physician assistants, especially those working in surgery or emergency sections, should work well under pressure. The ability to remain calculated in stressful moments is a plus.
