Both are running Windows Vista and have the same spec except for the hard drive size. I have even tried my spare wireless router - linksys 54 - and Laptop 1 connects fine while Laptop 2 doesn't. Since it is a brand new laptop, I haven't installed any virus software, but I tried disabling all windows firewall etc - still no luck. I can't understand how two laptops with same spec but slightly different drivers - as the drivers don't really auto-update themselves work so differently.
