An orphan having the transmitter stapled into his ear. Transmitters are microscopic crawlers that are stapled into the ears of all the orphans in the Grace Field House. Their true form is unknown because they are not externally visible. The use of these transmitters help a caretaker to track down the whereabouts of an orphan via a radar. A disadvantage of a transmitter is that it would be useless if the host is near the gate or the wall which surrounds an orphanage, as it would eventually lose its signal.
The transmitter will also be useless if the device — invented by Ray — is applied onto the ear of an orphan which contains the transmitter, as the device could cripple the transmitters and render them useless.
It was crafted by Ray using parts of an instant camera , an old video game console , an iPod and other gifts which he received from Isabella for being obedient to her as her spy. The radar is a small, technological device used by the caretakers in the Premium Farms.
The radar can locate orphans who have the transmitters implemented into their body, specifically the back of their ears for the orphans in Grace Field. The radars are designed to be light and durable for the caretakers to carry around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Blestevick from Fun strategy, excellent graphics, humorous characters I enjoy the variety of challenges and especially enjoy the graphics in that they are larger and easier to see as well as humorous.
My husband and I have played this over and over. We both enjoy that pirate challenge too Rated 5 out of 5 by knuklehead from best game so far loved it and my children love it, we all wish there was more games like this, educational and fun and less of the creepy stuff that's taken over! Rated 5 out of 5 by VICKYMITT from The Promised Land I have really enjoyed this game starts a bit slow in places but the game play on the cannon well that was superb highly addictive and fun playing and the sound gives it an extra treat.
Note I like to enjoy my game not a timed type however I have some time type but I like to do it in none timed played. Rated 5 out of 5 by Darjeelingg from Fun with the right amount of challenge This is my sort of game. Plenty of resource and time management, some allocation of skills and labour, and a few tim challenges thrown in as well.
There wasn't much of a storyline though but the game play made up for it. It was fairly straight forward to figure out. Got a bit tedious towards the end when trying to accomplish all the goals but finishing the game itself was satisfying. Rated 5 out of 5 by Sudser from Playing it for about the 20th time I love this game.
My only question is, when will there be a sequel? Did I mention how much I love this game? There are objectives but they are not too difficult and the game play is straight forward. I could have played this game for a lot longer if the story line allowed it. I would by The Promise Land Two if it ever shows up on here. Rated 5 out of 5 by Katsietoo from I love this game! This game was so much fun, that I've already played it three times! I'm not sure what your would call this 'type' of game, but I love them.
